Here we go again. Since the unfortunate cancellation last November we have re-registered and re-trained and again we are ready for it. It was a sad but necessary decision on the part of the race organizers. Had they gone ahead with the race they would have had even more trouble when you think about people getting sick or worse, and then the lawsuits...
We have been supportive of this event and excited about finally running the initial race this coming March 22. I think it is going to be great and will become a popular race for runners in this area as well as runners from all over the country and the world. It is also a great opportunity to become a Legacy runner at a marathon. Not many of those opportunities left around here.
